Nature Abstracted Series

Nature Abstracted  is a collection of landscapes of which many are triptychs. I particularly like to paint on three panels because the images unfold like pages in a book, shifting your eye from panel to panel.

The images in this series of gardens and fields reflect my view that nothing is static in nature. My interest is to capture  the inherent energy of my subject.  Through gestural lines and radiant color, these paintings act as both portraits of nature and expressions of paint.
